Birdy Party!

So as promised I am back with the next selection of nature cam pics! I am going to try and tell the story - do remember that I am watching these as they happen - the camera is just coz mummy was jealous as she didn't get to watch them, so this way she can also see who is in the garden.

So I am still on that first day - there was lots of activity, much more than usual. The Crows spent an extra long time playing around just in front of the camera:

You can tell from these pictures which one Daddy is - he was the first one to visit the garden back when he was a youngster, and this is his family - the one with the brown spot on his head can be quite cheeky and likes to pester Doris (the rabbit).

And you can see that later in the afternoon the crows were still feasting on the mealworms mummy put out! I think maybe she put far too any out there - but the birdies were not complaining. The wagtail had a lovely rummage whenever the crows allowed him some space. He is really funny as he will shout at anything that is in the way when he wants to come down and feed, no matter how big they are. This little magpie in the last photo is a little bit shyer, although knows when somebody is looking at it through a window. This is the guy that pecked poor Doris on the nose just after Christmas. You can see how cheeky he is in this picture.

The last two visitors were the youngster crow and the wagtil again before there appeared a large, fat, fluffy rabbit on camera - caught red pawed eating mummy's plants!! Naughty Doris.

I will have more for you soon - they are just taking a while to go through and mummy always has so much to do of an evening! She really needs to go part-time.

See ya soon peeps
