Rainy June continues

So I have some other creatures to share with you today - not just the birds on the nature cam (oh and the rats and hedgehog too haha). We are starting to get little critters inhabiting the nettles now - here is the first little guy: Not sure what he will become but it is certainly not a butterfly and mummy doesn't think it is a moth either. Mummy has started letting Henry have the run of the garden - the same as Doris, as he keeps getting out of his run - besides the run is needed to stop Doris from eating certain plants. Here he is enjoying the grass whilst trying to hide from us. And the bees are loving the Radish that is growing uncontrollably - self seeded of course haha. But I do have some pictures from the nature camera too :) Mummy put out some eggs and also some falafal that she didn't eat. Well the crows certainly know what they prefer - but they did come back for the egg. The magpie also came for some egg that was in the bird bath, but it w

The month of summer right?

We are now in June - and it is miserable here in South Wales. Even the crows are not coming into the garden as regularly!! But we do still have some captures on the nature cam - obviously! So firstly I wanted to share the creche area with you. The wagtails were leaving all five of their babies in the garden whilst they went off and did whatever they were doing. Mummy loved it.  Oh and here we have the very rare Guinea Pigeon haha - lookit the fatty! Doris took a liking to the string mummy has laid out to make sure her patio is level. Unfortunately the rain has meant that mummy will have to wait a little longer before she can lay the patio. And this little baby rat really wanted that fat ball, but the crow showed who was boss. Considering the fat ball is meant for the crow I think it is only right he let them know! Here are more of the cute little babies - again being shown who is boss by Mr Crow. Mummy says she has to go to bed

Let's finish up May

Starting off with a couple of videos of the Blue tits before the babies fledged. They were in and out constantly!! Then we had Mr greedy crow, showing off to the camera about how many suet balls he can fit into his beak at once haha. This Magpie was finding something very tasty - we are pretty certain it was the live mealworms mummy put out and not a baby blue tit though. This little madam was winding the Blue Tits up - luckily the baby's were at the fledging stage before she found the nest! Some pictures of the pairs coming into the garden. Then the wagtails started bringing the babies in :) Flopped Doris! Just thought this was a great picture. And some baby pictures, as well as the blackbirds and hedgehogs. Right bedtime xxx
