October delights

Well it has been busy here, with Halloween prep - mummy likes ot go all out for her outfits - AND it has to be different every year. She is a little mad! This year she had purple hair and green eyes - although I am not sure what she was supposed to be. Here is a picture for you, so you can decide: At the moment there are lots of pops, sizzles and bangs from outside, but I am actually enjoying watching the pretty sparkly colours outside the window. Some of the bigger bangs, especially when I cannot see them, do make me jump a little, but mummy isn't bothered by them so I won't be either. Now believe it or not we had a new brood of caterpillars on the Nasturtiums only just a week ago! Sorry I have been a while in posting some Nature Notes. Been busy preparing my voice for halloween. I did try to get GavGav ready too, but he seemed rather displeased with my version of bloody finger! You would think he wasn't grateful for the loving bite I gave him! Anyway, we had this little ladybird coming in to find a sheltering spot (no idea where it has ended up though). Also, the Nicotiana is now in flower - haven't seen any moths at it yet, but hopefully now it is getting dark earlier we might see some. Mummy always covers me up when she puts me to bed, so I can't keep watch after this point!! Look at those long delicate flowers! And the last thing for this post is the fact that the sage has grown back tremendousy now that the weather has gone colder. Ad I thought it preferred hotter weather?? The guinea pigs are very happy about it anyway! Bedtime now :) See ya soon.
