Nature year end

Image
So the Wildlife Trust are doing an initiative to get people out and about in the Twixmas period. They are urging people to tune in with nature during the dys between Christmas and New Year. I have been playing along with my mummy - obviously - but we have not really managed to get many photographs! Nature is a little more subtle at this time of year, and mummy is pretty rubbish really - by the time she has got her camera out whatever is interesting has quickly done a runner! So on Christmas Day we had my Grandparents round, and mummy let Doris play out in the garden (she has a run that she is in all year, but in Winter the grass grows much slower due to the clay soil being wet and cold, so the run stays stationary and Doris comes out into the garden main once or twice a week to get some fresh grass). The crows were having much fun watching her - although she was determined to eat their food before they did lol. However, it is interesting that we do still have a sunflower in flower
